Os U2 foram nomeados para 2 prémios Grammy na sua 50º edição cuja cerimonia será realizada a 10 de Fevereiro de 2008. Os temas para os quais foram nomeados são:

A banda sonora do filme 'Across the Universe' está nomeada para o premio Best Compilation Soundtrack Album, que conta com a participação de Bono e os Secret Machines no tema 'I Am The Walrus' , e Bono e The Edge no tema 'Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds', ambos originais dos Beatles.

Actualmente os U2 possuem o recorde de prémios Grammy com um total de 22.
